This week Curtis is on Army duty at Fort Knox, and to save on gas he has been staying at my parents house in Louisville at night. Since he is gone at night my mom has been staying with me and Noah here at our house to help me out while Curtis is gone. This has been a true blessing and it makes me realize even more how lucky I am to have a mom that cares about me so much and would do anything for me. She didn't hesitate for a second to disrupt her life for a week just to help me out, and that makes me one very lucky daughter:) It is very helpful that she is staying with me, because it allows me to keep Noah on the schedule he is used to when we are getting ready in the mornings to go to day care. I dropped him off at day care today for the first time and it was a lot harder than I thought it would be. I'm so thankful that Curtis normally does the dropping off and picking him up job daily, because it's a lot harder to say bye to him when I'm leaving him with someone other than his daddy in the mornings. I do love walking through the door to pick him up in the evenings and seeing his little face light up when he sees his mommy! He was in a very good mood today when we got home as you can tell by the picture. We played for a long time before he got tired and then he took about an hour nap for me so we could rest together. Mamaw is holding him now and he is taking another cat nap since he just got finished eating. He will be waking up here soon and I will give him his nightly bath and put him down to sleep for the night. I will make sure that I give him extra hugs and kisses from his daddy who is missing him like crazy!
Mom's are Angels sent from God to take care of us throughout our lives.
